They took him off the vent today and now he is on oxygen and tolerating it
pretty well. He gets steroids to keep the swelling in his throat down so they
don't have to reintabate him. They had to
start blood pressure medicine
because it was getting out of
control, so he gets that every 6 hours.
Tomorrow they may change is blood pressure medication to be closer together
because he isn't making it the 6 hours without it.
They started his feeding tube
again. When this tube of milk is out they may let him have a bottle to actually
feel full, they said they don't feel full with the feeding tube.
His belly where
the surgery was is swelling more today then yesterday so that concerns them for
the incision. So he is still not out of the dark but he is still
fighting!
