I HAVE NOTHING TODAY

I have nothing today that you would want to hear, but Terri, my number one elf wrote a beautiful post last night.  The only things I could write about today would be weariness, fear(as in paralyzing), despair, a hacking cough that seems to want to live with me, and a legal page full of worries.   Hopefully I can get an elf to post on the holiday blog in the next few days. I promise to be back soon and filled with HOPE.  Today that's not where I am living…Since this goes to my FB friends too, if I have not returned your calls, its because I cannot make a sentence without coughing.

Precious Friend,
Now that we have exchanged emails I feel I can call you friend. I promise you this will get better. Your what ifs and worries will most likely not come to pass. Two years later I know that to be true. You will have bad days and trying times and your normal may be different but you are watching the grace of God live out before you. Your Jack will work hard and be home before you know it. I'm praying for you Teresa and wish I could give you a real hug. But remember that Romans 8:28 says that I know that all things work together for good for those who love God and are called according to His purpose. I have clung to that verse for years now! :)
Love,
Tammy

Teresa, I can only imagine what you're going through right now. Just know that your blogging friends are praying for you and your family and your husband's recovery. Allow us to love on you and minister to you even if it's virtual. You've touched many lives in such a positive way. Now let us hold you up in prayer as you rest in His arms.

Blessings and love,

Teresa,

Perhaps this is simply a sign to take some time for yourself today after all you've been through. As you have stated in so many posts, nothing is more important than family.

Praying that you can enjoy the day and allow God to bless you abundantly and heal your cough.

Praying for you, Miss Grammy G. It's a wonder to me how within the less than 36 hours that you and I met and spent time together, I could love you so dearly. You know my family has been where you are. Trust in Him to get you through day by day, 24 hours at a time. That's how He planned planned for us to do! ;) I promise you, He has more than eneough mercy to get you through...and more than enough beauty to show you along the way... There will most certainly be treasure on the other end. "He who sows in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping carrying seed to sow, will return carrying sheaves with Him!" (Psalm 16, I think. :s) Sow that harvest, Grammy Girl. Hugs!

Dear sweet Teresa,
You are healing as well as Jack. You need to make sure to allow yourself to do so. God is holding you in his hands. He is wanting you to rest and take quiet spiritual time for just you two. Rest, pray, sleep....those are your priorities right now. Jack is in great care it sounds like and he needs you to be strong.
God bless you. You are lifted up in prayers.

Prayers & Healing hugs to both of you my sweet! I have had you on my scattered mind, wondering where you where & up too... This is NOT what I expected. I am so sorry you are going through such a trial. Thank the Lord that someone found Jack in time. You DO need to take some time and take care of your self too. He is safe and in good hands, so you get your self well! I hope you have been to a doctor by now. Sending positive thoughts and more prayers. Put everything in HIS hands, he has the ultimate control. ~Blessings & Hugs

Teresa, I am so sorry. I have been buried with work and have fallen off the grid for the past couple weeks. I am so sorry that you are going through this but it sounds like you have a great support system. Know that I am thinking about you and your family and you are in my prayers. If there is anything I can do, please just let me know. I'll be checking in often and will offer you as much moral support as needed.

My dear Teresa, It was with great sadness that I read your comment to me about Jack's recent stroke. I, myself, have had some life-changing health problems in the past few months and I have been so fearful.

However, the Bible addresses fear more than 260 times and I want to give you some scriptures for you to read when you are feeling very anxious.

I promise God's word will give you the peace nothing else can.

Jeremiah 17: 7-8
Psalm 34: 4
Psalm 4:8
Philippians 4:4-7
2 Timothy 1:7
Psalm 46:1-3
Psalm 119: v.50 and v.71
Psalm 2: 5-6

I could go on and on but please read these knowing I care about you and Jack and the great trials you are having now. Even if we are just "blogggy" friends I knew I met Jack for a special reason in New Mexico this past summer! You tell him I said HELLO and I am adding him to our church's ( and Mine)prayer list!

Hi Teresa - I see now why I haven't heard from you. I'm truly sorry that this is happening. I can't help you with the stroke except through prayer. There isn't a nasty bug going around called an upper respiratory infection and it really takes it out of you. I just got over it and if it wasn't for Zinc I think it would of gotten much worse.
I picked mine up at HyVee and it says on the front:
Cherry Flavored Zinc Chewable w/ vitamins C & B6. Take a couple of them. I think they were like $6. Got get some or have someone bring them to you. Sleep when you can too. You might even consider calling your doctor and telling her what's going on - she may have an antibiotic or two for you. You don't want to end up with pneumonia.

Sending soft hugs your way and a prayer or two too.
