A DAY AT THE DUCK POND

After that previous heavy post, here are some FUN PICTURES that Amanda sent me from her phone yesterday while they were at the duck pond. This is my daughter and Jack's beautiful Mom...Amanda! What a great Mom she is to Parker and Jack. How blessed I am to call her MY GIRL! Jack is a TAD frustrated....I know he wants to go FASTER! Micah and Jack sharing a SPECIAL MOMENT. TWO PEAS in a POD! I wonder what Jack is telling him. A BOY HAVING SOME BIG TIME FUN WITH HIS MOM AND DAD I LOVE THIS PICTURE. It SPEAKS A THOUSAND WORDS to my HEART.

Hope you have had a WONDERFUL SUNDAY. It has been an absolutely BEAUTIFUL DAY in Shreveport. NOT bragging, but needing some accountability...I walked another 3 MILES TODAY. Thank you Terri for setting the pace.

A few places in the blog world that I do not want you to miss are at Chatting At The Sky ! Also welcome an old friend of mine Kelly. She is NEW to the blogging world. She is just getting started and not sure what direction she is going. I hope you will stop by and make her feel welcome at SUNNY SUE! I vividly remember those first few comments I got a year ago when I wrote my first POST. I was totally thrilled and even decided to write another post, then another and the rest is history. If I have not told you lately, my blog friends are VERY special to me. Another blog I love is ORDINARY INSPIRATIONS. Stop by all of these blogs and read a few posts.

As a child I have always loved being at or new a duck pond, there is something so soothing and peaceful just watching them swim along the water. I can only imagine how much fun this was for both of them.

Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. How did you find me.
I LOVE it that you are a grandma like myself as most bloggers out there seem younger.....and It is nice to see us "oldies" out there eh.
I remember too when I first started getting comments on my posts. It was exciting. It is fun to find blogger friends, and meet all these wonderful ladies all across the country.
The photo of your daughter and her family are so cute.

It's a wonderful life! strolling by the duck pond.
I also read your thoughts on the movie, I haven't seen it and probably won't, but sounds like a good message to walk away with. We are the hands and hearts that Jesus loves others through. And I need to be reminded of that now and then.
Thanks for coming by to see my coffee table makeover.
Grace for a happy Monday ;-)

Jack has such a great family and how nice to spend part of the day outside with the ducks. I like your live feed traffic info but I don't quite understand why it thinks I am from Southgate,CA Newhall or Santa Clarita, CA yes but we are very far from Southgate.
