ANOTHER WINNER

A SPRING BREAK WEEK WITH PARKER...NOTHING MAKES ME HAPPIER!

Before I tell you about my week coming up with my main man (well one of them)......Parker talked me into giving another card package away.....It did not take much persuasion and he prides himself in picking JUST the RIGHT NUMBER.... It will be a mixture of EASTER and EVERYDAY cards. I feel so strongly about the snail mail post, that I am going to continue to HELP you be a card sender. I am just imagining all the smiles of those that walk to their mailboxes and come back with a card. If you win or have won a card package, PLEASE think of ONE PERSON that will be totally shocked to get a card or someone you have not corresponded with in a long time... MAKE THEIR DAY! At the bottom of this post will be a NEW GIVEAWAY, so keep reading.

The second WINNER today is Sheila at Note Songs! She has a beautiful blog, so if you are not already a reader, stop by and say hello.
My husband is on the road this week with a college baseball team, so Parker and I are hanging out at home for a few days. I cannot think of any person I would rather hang out with. We have planned a Wii bowling tournament for tomorrow...and he promises me he will win. We have to fit in a couple of dentist appointments, Bunco, a few more wreaths to get made and delivered and then we are going to meet up with Jack on Thursday for a fun weekend. First on our list is seeing THE DIARY OF A WIMPY KID. Parker just reminded me of of our trip last summer where I let him rent lots of movies in the hotel..I think he has that in mind again. The weather may even be warm enough to swim. I am just excited that he still feels like a weekend with THE GRANDPARENTS is still fun. Little Jack was here for supper tonight him. HE always makes me LAUGH. He has the cutest personality and his new thing is tattling. He is by far the funniest kid I have ever known. Thank you Lord, for allowing me to be his Grammy! If you ever just get tired of hearing how much I love my little ones, I will totally understand. I just want them to be able to read this years from now and KNOW they made my life complete.
A NEW SPRING WREATH I MADE...I HAVE MADE 50 or so, and not made one picture. What was I thinking? This happens to be a customers picture that she posted on Facebook...Here are a few more blogs I want you to visit. They have become favorites of mine. Thoughts of a Bama Belle...love this blog and she is having a giveaway. Also, Amy at Snoodlings has a great giveaway this week. Another gal I have come to love is Debbie at HEART CHOICES. It seems like everyday I find a NEW favorite blog...Just in case you missed the post that I mentioned Enjoying the Small Things, DO NOT miss this blog.

She is a phenomenal photographer, a master with words, a story that will touch your heart and a read you will not be able to get away from. Be sure and go back and read the post of the night her baby was born.

Thanks for all of your feedback on this post on Precious. It is a movie I have not been able to get off my mind.

OK....FOR ANOTHER BUNDLE OF CARDS...just leave a comment on THIS POST or any other post this week and I will have Parker draw on Sunday night. You can enter as many times as you want. No hard rules on my giveaways...I just want to GIVE.

Still working on a new blog design....it's on the way....Had to come back and add that I walked 3 miles again yesterday and again today...

Have fun with the kiddos. Does Parker like The Diary of a Wimpy Kid? I've heard that those are pretty popular books for kids.

Wow, what a beautiful way to welcome spring. Here I thought you only did Christmas things. So festive. Do I have to have a blog to be a winner? I do not have one, I am just a stalker/follower

Teresa, that was a fun post!

You are so sweet to continue the snail mail mission! I bought a bunch of really pretty cards at the Dollar Store the other day. Also, Hobby Lobby was discontinuing their Hallmark cards and I got a bunch of those. Excitement!!

Sounds like you are going to be busy. What wonderful memories to make with a little one. :)

I will try to visit some of those blogs.

You are very blessed to have your grandkids live so close to you. Three of mine visited a couple weekends ago and it was so much fun to have them. They live about 8 hours away so I don't see them very often. I hope you have a great week. Way to go with your walking!! I should have you down the block from me so I would get motivated!!

Good job on the walking! Doesn't it feel good to take a little care of yourself???

I continue to mail cards at least once a week, and it's so much fun to wait in giddy anticipation of them being received - it's such a nice way to brighten up someone else's day. And now my friends are starting to send them back to me! Obviously, great minds think alike.

I love this post. You have so many fun things planned, busy gal. And walking 3 miles a day on top of everything you do. I will never complain again that I have too much to do!! I love your wreaths. How kind of you to make SO many!! And your giveaways are also generous. You have the right idea about giving note cards. I love buying pretty cards and just recently sent my brother a card which surprised him since we always email. I loved it!! ;-)

Thanks for popping over. Have a grand week!

First of all, I never tire of your braggin' rites as a wonderful Grandma. I totally am with you on the card thing. Virtual cards just aren't like holding a card and reading and then pickin' it up later and reading it again. Now, that's a blessing.

I took my sweet DIL a 'love ya 'cause your you' card today with a Starbucks gift card in it. Totally spontaneous and unplanned. She handed me a 'happy Tuesday' card and we just cracked up laughing!

God bless you and have a terrific Tuesday.

Love the wreath. Wish I had your talent. Way to go, walking. I walked last night since it was still light when I got home from work - don't like the getting up in the dark, but getting home when it is light is wonderful Have a great week with the grands.

Don't you just love being able to take care of the grandchildren? I love it. I didn't think it was possible to love anyone as much asI loved my daughters, but those grand-daughters are melting my heart with each new day and event.
Congratulations on your walking. Looks like the Georgia weather is going to level off and I'm going to be able to get off the treadmill and into the street.
Hae a great week.

You have a lovely blog! I think this is my first time visiting. How fun that you get to be a grandma. I'm looking forward to that day -- maybe in just a few more years :) I love sending out cards to people, too. It is such a joy to get a real, paper letter out of the mailbox instead of just bills or junk mail. Email is nice but it's not the same.

I don't mind at all hearing about the love you have for your family. As I feel the same. Love NEEDS to be expressed.

it is cool how you spotlight different blogs ...you are very thoughtful

that wreath is IMPRESSIVE
