MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT

I can't sleep tonight.  Could be because I have slept all day.  Could be because I have a sore throat and feel like I am getting sick.

Could be I have a lot on my mind.  For whatever reason, I remembered I had not posted an update.

I cannot tell you how many lurkers have come out to say they are praying for Crew.  How many people are spreading his name and his need.  His need is simply a miracle.

One reason I am late posting is  that I have not heard anything from Marie or her Mom since late afternoon.

I could tell from the tone of her text she was exhausted beyond words, fearful, and holding  on by a string.  Tonight I am just going to copy and paste what she send me around 5 this afternoon.

From Marie

Crew  is still on the vent, his kidneys are damaged from everything that's going on and they are concerned that it is  becoming permanent.
Also they  are still  trying to give him time to battle his own blood pressure in fear of making his kidneys more stressed by assisting with medicine, unless it turns dangerously high.

He is having a very rough time right now and is being very difficult to sedate and his blood pressure and heart rate were very concerning to them.
As we speak he is getting an arterial line because blood draws are no long working, he is clotting to bad. So he is knocked out and paralyzed. He can't catch a break.

Let's all pray that today will be the day for a breakthrough.

Thanks for your thoughts, emails and prayers.

Continue to encourage her.  I know not a minute goes by that she does not need
an encouraging word.

I've been praying for Crew since you first posted. Poor little guy has been through so much. They can be such strong little babies. My great nephew spent 11 weeks in ICCU and is so perfect now. It is so hard on the parents. So hard to see their babies like that. I hope their is some improvement soon to encourage them. Hang in there litte guy.
