BOWING DOWN IN THANKS

Overwhelming

I am a little emotional today, a little overwhelmed, but most of all SO THANKFUL FOR A GOD THAT HEARS PRAYER.
I got an noon text from Marie that just broke my heart.  This is a girl that is only a few year younger than my Amanda.  She has a huge support system, but she is Crew’s Mom.
I don’t think she will mind me sharing her message in her words….

  • He is more comfortable today.  They increased his pain meds and made them closer together. He is still In ICU and his blood pressure is still high and still on BP meds.
  • My dad stayed with him last night.  I have never left the hospital in 7 days. Yesterday I broke down, I was hysterical crying and my body couldn't do it anymore. So I stayed at the hotel and got some sleep, I'm about to take a real shower while my mom, dad, and Clennton are with Crew.

I hurt for her.  I cannot  even imagine the load she has carried, the fear, the fatigue.

Then came the GOOD NEWS…..Bonnie, her Mom, messaged me late this afternoon.    Her message said “Crew is moving out of ICU.  He is peaceful, and this has been the best day yet!!!!!  Praise The Lord”!!!
That message made my day and I am sure many others….then she sent me these pictures!

 GG kissing her little man….

That my friend is ANSWERED PRAYER.

So tonight as you go to bed pray for the entire family that God will give them an extra burst of energy, some good sleep, and some great news from the doctor tomorrow.

From my heart to yours, and I can assure you from the family, our deepest thanks for praying for a little boy that you do not know.

On a sidenote, I am sick with whatever my little Jack has  had and now my husband is too....I hope its not the flu...First year I have I have not taken the flu shot. Ugh
But sick or no sick
I could not wait to share this news with you.....

May Crew continue to get stronger and stronger...I remember the unending hours my nephew and his wife stayed with our babyKatie...her heart surgeries took the wind out of our bodies as she endured them, but the Lord guided the surgeons and nurses ...and she is now 5yo. we're thankful every day.
praying the same for Crew and his family, that one day is will be a 'far away' memory and he'll be enjoying life at their home.
