HOP OVER TO MY HOLIDAY BLOG

IT'S BACK....A BABY CHANGES EVERYTHING....
To read the story behind the blog name you can go here! Most people have never even known anyone that does the job I have done for the past 18 year.  HOLIDAY DECORATING, AKA, the TREE LADY! I decorate 75 trees beginning the last week in OCTOBER through early December, along with my GREAT ELVES.  It's a fun job, a hard job, a rewarding job, long hours, work until you drop job..everyday it seems a new body part hurts...
This little boy below is the BABY that changed everything in our lives 11 years ago.  We go into homes all over my city and deck their halls, and when we leave I always pray that they CELEBRATE the BABY that CHANGED the WORLD.  Last year when I started the holiday blog, it was such a privilege to share tips, tricks, and ideas with all my blog friends.  In a sense I felt like it was a PAY IT FORWARD!  I had lots of opportunities to answer private emails when someone had a question or needed some help in pulling their tree together.  I loved it..      So again this year there will be LOTS of GIVEAWAYS (I just announced an ornament giveaway TONIGHT, so hurry over and all you have to do is comment) that's it...nothing else.  There will also be some guest bloggers, some new homes and new trees...we are doing several new homes that are going to be really fun...We are going to try and share pictures at least a couple of times a week, once the actual tree schedule starts, but for the next two months I am hoping to give you lots of tips.
This blog will continue to be the lives of my family...mostly about the little's, since they are my HEART!

Yippee!! I can't wait to see what the new holiday season holds for all of us. I started "previewing" my Christmas music this week. Had to turn the A/C down to "Chilly" to really get in the mood. I bought stuff after Christmas last year that I would never have even taken a second look at if I hadn't gotten all those great tips from you. Believe me, I am well-prepared to have the prettiest tree ever!!

Woman after my own heart, I do at least a dozen trees here every year!
So glad I happened upon your blog here at the HOP!

Just a little something from Judy said...

How far do you travel to decorate trees? You seem to be one of the most versatile, talented and yet down to earth women that I have ever met. One minute I read your blog in tears as you reach out in true compassion for someone hurting deeply, and the next post you are sharing your professional tree decorating business. Can't wait to see Christmas trees come alive here. And, yes the Baby did change everything.

And, of course Parker is handsome and cool and wonderful -- he shares his birthday with my daughter! Kids born on May 27 are AWESOME!

Have a great decorating season.
