Let Me Celebrate Your Favorite Blogs, and Another Different Kind of Giveaway

I am having a bit of a BLOCK...First off...thanks for asking about my husband ...He is fine...He has gone to work out right now, then leaving on a trip tomorrow. Realizing that it was a combination of several different things going on that were causing some strange symptoms, finally got us to the right meds...ALL IS GOOD!

There are several posts in my heart but not ready to make it to the blog yet. In the next few days, I am planning to post on my holiday blog, A Baby Changes Everything. I am not posting regularly there right now, but have a few spring goodies I want to show you and think I will do a GIVEAWAY....I just love SHIPPING a GIVEAWAY,(really my husband ships all of them) knowing it is going to MAKE SOMEONES DAY. So be watching for a post on the holiday blog.
Just to keep myself accountable...My walking buddy is on a trip this week, but I am doing Leslie Sansone's in home walking tapes this week. She has such an encouraging voice, kind of like Terri's. I have a LIBRARY of her tapes.
THAT'S a GREAT GIVEAWAY...Saturday night I will have Parker draw for one of her tapes. If you would like one, just leave it in the comments of this post and I will put your name in the pot.
BUT HERE IS THE MAIN REASON FOR THIS POST....
If you have a FAVORITE BLOG, hopefully one that I have never talked about, that others would LOVE, send it to me or leave it in the comments. I will post as many as I can..I would love to send new blogs some traffic. I would love to send older blogs MORE traffic. I LOVE finding a new blog, a gem, a new friend.
Blog hopping will DO THAT EVERY TIME. Then next week, I will do a post with some great ETSY shops. So if you have a favorite, leave it in the comments. Do not miss these pictures....have I told you I love babies? Never miss a post that she writes. They make my heart
happy. Leave me some blog names and treat me to some new reading. I love a good READ.

We are still working on my new blog design. I am not the type customer any designer wants. Trust me on this one. There are TOO many things I like, too MANY designs that are my favorites, a FONT junkie, and really have a hard time conveying all those aspects to anyone...even myself. It's very frustrating to me. If it were possible I would change my design once a week, but you would never know where you were.

REMEMBER I AM GIVING AWAY 2 MORE CARD PACKAGES on Saturday Night. I won't see Parker until Saturday night, so that will give you an extra day. WE WILL DRAW FOR BOTH GIVEAWAY'S ON SATURDAY NIGHT. A comment is all it takes and you can enter the next three days and have multiple chances. If you do not have a blog, just leave your email.
I think I WANT TO TWITTER. I said think. FIRST I NEED TO KNOW HOW. If any of you can send me an email (annah99@aol.com) with some basic information, and walk me through it, I will REWARD you with a SURPRISE. Remember I hate to read directions, always have and probably always will.
AND just for my enjoyment, if you are an American Idol lover like me, who is your FAVORITE so far? That's an extra entry for you.
CAN YOU SAY RANDOM? Sorry!

Eating raw honey, one teaspoon a day, prior to allergy season helps some people build immunity to their allergy symptoms. Just in case ya want to try it!

I would like to throw my name in for the tape. Woohoo! It might perk up my inside days.

You have to go visit Maggie at Just Between You and Me http://grandmayellowhair.blogspot.com/. She is not only a police officer and has an alter personality, she's hilarious.

Have a fun day full of God's blessings!!

I have to tell you, in my Bible study class last night we were talking about sending cards. We always have the best of intentions but don't always follow through. We all made a pact with each other to send at least one card this week. :) I thought of you.

Must thank you for sending Nezzy my way. She stopped by my blog and left a comment. So sweet. Warmed this newbie's heart.

I will be the first to comment on IDOL. Crystal has the best gift but big Mike is my favorite. Like his personality and to see that big man with his tiny newborn warms my heart.

I need, Need, NEED one of those Leslie Sansone videos. 10 years ago I did the 2 mile indoor walk faithfully Then I loan out the video and never got it back. This winter, I just do everything I can remember, walking in place to whatever is on TV or radio that I want to hear. I think I keep up the intensitiy and do most of the moves...

I enjoyed this post! I'll hop back again soon and check out your holiday blog later.

Good morning dear Teresa:-)

It feels so good to get back into bloggy visits...with going away the last two weekends for 4 days each time, it really messed up my regular routine! lol Now I'm trying to catch up with everyone.

Such wonderful news that your hubby is doing well...getting the right meds is so important.

I've never heard of Leslie Sansone but I love to walk! lol I really need to get back into exercising!!!

As for one of my favourite blogs...you should check out Pat's blog at Mille Fiori Favoriti (http://millefiorifavoriti.blogspot.com/)! She posts gorgeous pictures in and around New York City and I've just learned so much from her.

I have a Twitter account but I never use it! lol I have enough problems keeping up with blogs and Facebook...OY!!!

Have a wonderful weekend dear friend. xoxo

Sorry, I missed the extra IDOL entry. I am watching, but I have to be honest and say that this is the WORST season, by far. AHHHHH, it's horrible. The show dynamics just aren't the same and the talent isn't what it used to. However, I'm LOVING "Big" Mike because his personality is amazing. I, as well as Sunny Sue, love watching him with his brand new baby girl. It's just precious.

I also like DiDi and Aaron...but not even close to how much I LOVED and ADORED (still do actually) Carrie Underwood! Now there is TALENT!!!!! ;) Just my opinion, though!

Oh sweet friend, I'm so happy to read that Jack is okay! I've been praying. See....prayers are powerful. I was just about to email you and thought I would check your blog one more time to see if you had posted an update. Yeah, you did.

Hugs!
Kat

Thanks for visiting my blog! As for Twitter, I recommend using a program like Tweetdeck or Twitscoop to help sort out messages. Both of those show you at a glance what Tweets have mentioned your name, and also direct messages (DM) to you...much easier to navigate than the Twitter.com page itself. Good luck!

I have one of her tapes - would love another. Glad your hubby is better.

I just want to tell you my friend, that your blog is so encouraging, inspiring, and you are a generous lady. As I read down through is random post I had to smile to myself. I smiled because I thought, here is a post that leads me to remember others, to send cards, and to want to share little gifts with others. That is such a blessing and so are you! This is from one grandma to another.

Pollen is killing me as well! UGG

Yes, we are American Idol fans... I think I like Big Mike :-)

Ellen Stewart (aka Ellie/El) said...

No pollen where I live, yet. It was still cold today...(near Chicago).

My son has applied to LSU for grad school, so it's sweet you stumbled across my blog today--as we're wondering where he will be attending school in August.

Thanks for your encouragement in my blog comment, I only walked 30 minutes, but I got off the couch (I work a lot of 12 hour days, so my couch is my best friend, and the fact that my husband sits on it with me...well...)

My favorites on Idol are Crystal and Lee.

My favorite blog is my classroom blog. I'm a teacher, so I hope it's okay to give our little blog a plug:

I love walking with Leslie Sansone.
As far as a favorite blog. Looked through your list of blogging friends. You have several of the same ones I have. But several that stands out that you don't have Just Breath, Heavenly Humor and Quilly's Pacific....Paradise.

You are very generous how you like to leave a "shout out" about other people's blogs and invite readers to their site. so thoughtful.

I have never had allergies...LUCKY ME.

I don't twitter...hey, I don't even text...and I don't even have a cell phone. I am backwoods for sure.

I am very happy to hear that your hubby is doing well now...
and yes, we have the awful allergies hitting now too! Such a beautiful time of the year but you have to have the sneezing along with it...oh well

ethelmaepotter! said...

Just stopped by to say thanks for your well wishes for me.

Do try the honey...but make sure you're using LOCAL HONEY. The theory is that the bees in your area gather the pollen from the things in your area that are making you miserable...and that pollen is in the honey. Taking a small dose every day builds your immunity! I was skeptical for a long time, but it actually works for me!
