Thank you for visiting my blog and for leaving such a sweet note. I am very impressed with your generosity and would love a chance to win one of your card boxes. How lovely. I will never, ever give up on "snail mail" because I love to get mail myself -- it can't be beat. The person I would like to send a card to most is my sister in law, the wife of my husband's brother. He left her in November for another woman and we're all still in shock. They'd been married 23 years - childless. She is still, as she put it, living "hour by hour."

I hope you'll be back to visit my blog, and enter my giveaway, too! www.indulgeyourshelf.blogspot.com - the deadline is the same as for this UBP, today!

DeeDee said...

wow.. what a sweet gift - I agree with Cindy - we are getting away from real mail. And how sweet it is to get a card.
I would send one to my mom first...who had just had a mastectomy.
I have three give aways at my place if you have time to drop by - today is the last day to "register".
Sweet Blessings

What an AWESOME giveaway!! I have a friend that recently found out she is pregnant after several years of trying. I would love to send her a card of congratulations for this answered prayer!

Thank you for offering the giveaway!

Thanks for visiting my blog. Yours is adorable!
I think I would send a card to my grandmother. She sends them to me all the time and I always try to reciprocate, but she is always the First to send. I'd love to surprise her next!
thanks!

What a wonderful giveaway! I would send a card to my dear aunt who recently had a tumor removed from her breast. Hopefully with radiation treatment, that will take care of the cancer. Luckily they found it early. It showed up on a mammogram. A good reminder to get those yearly checkups.

I LOVE your idea for a card box! Getting cards in the mail is one of the best feelings in the world. If I won the card box I would be sending the first one to my cousin. She just had a baby, and you know how the beginning goes. She is sleep deprived and exhausted! I went over last night to take a shift with the sweetest little girl so that her mommy could sleep an hour or two before the next feeding. This new mommy needs lots of love right now to get her through the next few weeks!! Thanks for such a great offer!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. You said that you just started your blog not long ago, but you already have so many friends commenting on your cool blog. It looks like you are doing something right! I can't even get my family to comment. :)

I'd love the card box if I'm chosen. What a fun business to have. I have been thinking about my grandfather lately. My grandmother died two years ago and he lives across the country from us with no other family around him. He doesn't like computers so we don't keep in touch as much as I do with other family members.

Nice to met you.

I would love to send a card to my grandmother. She has Alzheimer's, so getting mail is a nice way for her to know I am thinking of her...she doesn't usually remember my phone calls. :)

That's an awesome card box! If I won one of those boxes, I'd send a card to my SIL who is getting ready to get married next month. I'd also send a card to my small group leader from church. I'm so thankful of all the small stuff she does to keep our group running.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

Wow! The stampede here nearly ran me over (*grinning*)!!!

This is incredible!

There really is more than one person I've had on my heart for days...not just today. She is a dear friend..I've never laid eyes on--but our hearts serve the same LORD. Iris is here name. The other two are Paula and Lisa. Hmmm. I am a card sender. I keep some at home..and some at work. My address book goes where I go. Just in case.

This is the neatest giveaway! Enter me please :)

What a clever idea this is and so organized -- I am never this organized :-) The person that I have had on my heart lately is a dear friend who is going through chemo right now for stage two breast cancer. I have been sending her cards and little things to cheer her up and plan to continue to do so. She was such a big support to me in my own illness!

You have a beautiful blog and I love your post about your daughter.

I would send a card to a good friend of mine who is waiting to hear if they will be able to adopt some twins who are being born in August to a young lady who is in drug rehab and already has three other children - all separated from each other, adopted by other people, and all suffering the affects of her drug abuse. My friend and her husband want to see the twins get to stay together and after having suffered through several miscarriages and adoptions that didn't work out in the end they appreciate any note of encouragement I can send them! They are beautiful people and a blessing in my life.

AWESOME giveaway. Being at the end of the list lessens the chance of winning but I have to try anyway, right? : )

Thanks for visiting my blog(s). I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to leave me a comment.

Hi Teresa,
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I think your card boxes are such a great gift! I see that you have had a lot of visits and understand your time is of great value. You asked to let you know if there was anyone on my heart that I would like to request a card to be sent to, well there is. If you visit my blog again and check out my two blogs regarding RIP Lauren, you will see that I lost someone close recently. I would love to have a card sent to her family. Something to show that I care. If not, again, I understand.

Regardless, I will stay tuned to the creative juices flowing on your blog.

What a wonderful giveaway...this would be great because I often encounter people or have someone on my heart to encourage and then I am horrible at following through with sending a card, just beause of not having the time to go out and get one. I would probably send a card to Deb...to encourage her and let her know how loved and appreciated she is. And, I'm so glad you stopped by my blog to let me know about this lovely giveaway. Hi Teresa,
I don't ever win anything - really I don't - but I thought I'd go ahead and enter your giveaway.

Truth is I used to LOVE to send pretty cards to my friends. I'd spend a few minutes and write a sweet personal note (usually extremely ooey gooey and girly), and then I'd use a pretty sticker to grace the envelope. With email, I haven't been as faithful to that very enriching activity.

I think my sweet momma is due for a sweet note as well as my friend Sue (the one I used to send most of the notes to).

What a fun giveaway.

Have a great day Teresa.

Therefore, that's who I would LOVE to send a card to right now.

Love the giveaway!! Thank you so much for doing this!! What a blessing to give to others!!

Hi Teresa! Your giveaway is such a good one! I love giving cards to people I love (I do a lot of "just thinking of you kinds") and this would be a terrific win! I think I'd start with a card to my mom because she's been so supportive these past 4 months (i have a 4month old son) - so yes, a definitely "friendship" card for her! It's great knowing she's one of my best friends :)
Anyways, the reason I popped in is because I was here through the UBP and I bookmarked your site as one that I wanted to return to. I'm glad I did! :) Take care,
Jaye

I love blogging and have met some amazing women from all over the U.S. and beyond. I'm so happy to meet you!

I have had my son-in-law's grandmother on my heart yesterday and today. She made us that delicious dinner after we'd worked so hard after the swap meet and then during the night had to be admitted to the hospital .
She's home now, but I want to send her a card thanking her for being so thoughtful to cook us such a great dinner.

I'll be back to your blog too. I've been on a trip to Chicago and then gone again to help our kids out for three days with the swap meet.

Thanks again and whoever wins this gift will be blessed. That's so sweet of you!

God bless!
