I LOVE THESE

I love TV…Just a FACT…not sitcoms, not cartoons (though I watch a lot of them, not soap operas).
I love NEWS, SPORTS and REALITY shows.  A few of my NEW   FAVORITES are

          COMING HOME
one of my favorite shows on Lifetime in a long time.  cominghome-0101-10
    SECRET  MILLIONAIRE
                    LOVE   IT
secret-millionaire
SEARCHING  FOR  AMERICA’S NEXT GREAT  RESTAURANT
Next Great
I am also a huge fan of American Idol,
Dancing With The Stars, One Born EVERY Minute, 19 Kids and Counting and
Cupcake Wars

Now you tell me some of your favorite TV shows.
I might find a new one.
Also next week I will have a
guest blogger on the holiday blog!

Can you believe I did a post and not about the little's?
The stomach bug has visited our house and knocked me out....NOT fun.

I feel sick as  I watch the news from Japan. It seems to get worse everyday.  I have seen little Japanese ladies and the thought keeps coming, "They love their babies just like I do"!
God help them!

I like Harry's Law and Justified since I like mysteries and character development too. Can you believe I've never watched any of your favorites? I agree, the news about Japan is very heart breaking so it is good to focus on something light like your blog post today. My post today is about daffodils, in a similar spirit.

Often, one of the together things my hubby and I look forward to, is watching some favorite tv shows... he LOVES sports (I will watch certain teams...I may not understand fully what's going on & admit that I tend to ask a lot of questions during a game, but I LOVE to cheer my favorites on, like Green Bay Packers, University of Louisville, University of Kentucky, University of Hawaii)
...love Secret Millionaire, Undercover Boss, shows reuniting lost loved ones...(hm...haven't seen Coming Home yet, but with a retired military dad and hubby and active duty brother and other family, this sounds like one I would love to watch).
..also like The Event, Chuck, Blue Blood, Hawaii 5-O (like to see the areas we recognize in the scenes, since my hubby's family are from Hawaii and we also lived there when he flew Army helicopters on Oahu).
...this year's American Idol...Cupcake Wars...Cake challenges...Chopped (our older daughter and I crack up, cuz she can create crazy ingredient combos like they have on the show)
...House Hunters...

I lived on the northern most island of Japan back in the early 1970's...when my dad was in the military, but we have not kept in touch with the locals that we had befriended then... I pray that the families are all doing well.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

Blessings & Aloha!
& I'm so glad that you were able to stop by and catch up at my post...Thank you so, so much! Cuz I look forward to seeing you were there and truly appreciate your time and comments.

I have only seen shots of Secret Millionaire from Oprah. In tears... in minutes... what an awesome idea! So deserved too. I just Love this kind of thing. Money can really change lives for better or for worse. It's so nice to see people do better with it!

Hope you have a wonderful week!

It is so sad to see the images of the devastation in Japan.

I have to add a few TV shows my hubby and I enjoy watching. We love Amazing Race, American Idol and Survivor.

I LOVE Dancing with the Stars and watch A Minute to Win IT! But not many others! I am a news junky and love all of the news shows!

I am so sorry you have been sick! Nothing fun about that!

The Japan catastrophe is just awful! It makes me so sad to see what has happened and how far they have got to go to get to any form of normalcy:(

Have a blessed day, hope you feel better! HUGS!

Oh sweetie, I hope you recoop faster than I did with the stomach stuff. I really knocked me off my feet and flat on my back!!1

We are showered with so much reality here on the Ponderosa, when I get a chance to watch TV I just want to be lost in a fictional happier ever after program.

God bless ya and have a wonderful day!!!

I just found Coming Home and Secret Millionaire and I love them both. Nothing wrong with a show that makes you cry and feel good at the same time.

Hope you feel better soon!

To the list you've provided (and that I like as well), I've just gotta add Animal Cops. I'm a softie for the furry creatures in our midst.

Praying for the victims of nature's fury in Japan. Such a horrific tragedy.

Blessings,
Kathleen

May you always have
Walls for the winds,
A roof for the rain,
Tea beside the fire,
Laughter to cheer you,
Those you love near you,
And all your heart might desire!

Happy St. Patrick's Day, dear Teresa:-)

I don't watch that much tv but when I do I love to watch American Pickers, Pawn Stars and Storage Wars...all based on vintage items found in auctions and pawn shops. I don't watch any of the shows you mentioned.

It's just horrible what happened in Japan and now with the fear of radiation leaks...those poor people have too much to handle all at once. My heart and prayers are with them. xoxo

Oh, goodness, I sure hope you're feeling better by now!

Ongoing prayers for the folks in Japan, heartbreaking! :(

I have to admit to watching one "soap". :)

And, love the NCIS shows. Also, Undercover Boss - makes me cry every single time.

I watch American Idol. Big Brother is one of my favorites, otherwise I don't really watch reality TV.
I did get hooked on Celebrity Apprentice this season, I don't know why! I like sitcoms and other shows like Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice and Parenthood.
