I WILL BE BACK SOON

Three brothers that are going to miss Will!
Just taking a short break....this has been such an incredibly sad week. Tomorrow is Will's service...Tonight I was able to talk to his Mom and Dad and hug their necks...They were so strong as they encouraged the hundreds and maybe thousands of people that came for the visitation. They stood for hours and talked to each person. I know they are in that period of time when God is just holding them up. One week ago today their boy had a headache. I will be back in a few days...my heart just hurts this week...

And since this family is a SPORTS FAMILY, I am sure they would not mind me mentioning in the same post, that HE'S BACK and I could not be happier...20 seasons sounds like the perfect number. Amanda read a cute post on FB today..."There are only two people that can give a long press conference with no commericals...Obama and Brett Favre"...I will take a Brett talk anyday.

This is so very tragically sad. I'm sure you are a huge comfort to the family by just bein' there for them. I will continue to pray, they have to go home today with a big old hole in their heart and in their lives.

Changin' the subject matter....Congratulations on you Brett win! I'm sure you are just thrilled down to you toes!

God bless ya and have a peaceful day sweetie, I know it's not easy.

I know just what this family is and will be going through in the next few weeks/months My sister in law died suddenly in a car accident the day after Fathers day and the pain, sorrow, anger, and every other emotion somedays feel so hard to deal with and hurt so much you dont want to get out of bed but the thing that keeps us going is the fact that this was not goodbye but see you later. I am so glad I have faith in God and know that Katy did to because it helps to know I will see her again.

Teresa, thank you for your words, weighty words that arrive in my box to encourage a weary soul over here in yet another crisis. I'm so physically weak this week, I can only make it to about 3pm bfore I crash. Your words encourage me so.

This post just haunts me in their unspeakable loss. I went to a funeral yesterday of our good friend who passed unexpectedly losing his cancer battle. He was my cancer buddy and our coach. His young teenagers will miss him so. Looking into the faces of these precious young boys---God will show up for them and their parents. Praying for them this night. Isaiah 30:18

God knows even when we don't. Sometimes that isn't comforting in the moment but is always comforting later.

The picture of him with his brothers is heartrending.

Oh, Teresa, my heart has been so heavy for this family, especially since I got the message on Sunday that Will had gone to be with Jesus. It is just so sad. I know that HE is in a better place now, but my mommy-heart just breaks for his parents and for his brothers. What a terrible, terrible loss for this precious family. I know it is going to be a very difficult time for each of the when they finally get past all the activities that will likely be planned over the next few days and get to that point when it is just the 5 of them alone at home again. I will definitely be praying for them.

Thanks for sharing this with us so we can cover them in prayer.

Bless you,

Teresa <><

I can't stop crying for this family! I will keep them in my prayers. Sometimes we don't always understand God's plan, but that's where we need to have faith and keep believing...even in times of such tough trials.

Oh Teresa, How sad... I am so sorry to hear about Will's death... Where did he get Bacterial Meningitis? Gosh--that's horrible...

I raised 3 sons --and we were a sports family too.. SO--like you, this hit me to the core... We don't know why things happen ---but we just have to have faith and trust that Will was needed by God... God probably has some important work for Will to do in Heaven...

God Bless You and Will's family... I will keep the entire community in my prayers.

Hugs and Prayers,
Betsy

Deep sympathy is felt right here in my heart for this sweet family. No words can comfort them. It is a time to grieve. Tyree, if you read this, Jesus weeps for your pain. He did for Mary and Martha when their sadness overwhelmed him at the death of their brother, Lazarus.
I will be praying for The Holy Spirit to comfort you all. Life hurts. Hearts break. Death stings. But beyond this life of faith in Jesus, we have hope. I pray that you will live life changed as a memorial to Will. Find a way to make a difference in this life. Do it with passion in memory of Will. And let it be something that brings God glory. In memory of Will.
Weeping with you,
Deborah

My heart goes out in deepest sympathy to the Matthew's family and all whose life was touched by this precious boy. There is nothing harder than losing a child. I lost my son right before his 21st birthday 10 years ago and the tremendous pain I felt was indescribable. I am keeping them in my thoughts and prayers now and in the very hard days ahead.
I am so deeply sorry.
Hugs,
Carol Anne

Hi Teresa. I'm so sorry for Wills family. What a devastating loss for them and the whole community. Your post have been so loving and touching.

I came by to tell you that when I read the comments you left me yesterday my heart feel like it was just being squeezed with love. My heart is still tender somewhere under all the frustration and all the loving comments have reminded me of that. Thank you for letting me know about your Dad and that you faced some of those same feelings. I know it must be horrible for them. Lord knows that's why I'm not a caregiver or a teacher by trade.

With all the love in my heart....Tracy :)
