THIS SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE

I have only been BLOGGING for a year and a few months. I do not want to talk about this much...I even hesitated finishing this post. I am not one that ask bloggers to FOLLOW ME, mainly because I have no idea where we are going. I don't have a problem with those that do want more followers, but I just love it if you stop by for a visit. BUT, I was looking at my dashboard tonight and what I saw put me in SHOCK. ...On my two blogs I am just a FEW, as in 4 away from having 1,000 followers! The 1,000th blogger will certainly GET A PRIZE! But the point of this post is to say THANKS for welcoming me to the blogging community. I have made more new friends, friends I feel like I have known forever. Who would have EVER thought I would find something I love so much? And really all I write about for the most part is my family and maybe a little football and Christmas trees. I don't cook, so you won't ever get any good recipes from me, I don't TABLESCAPE (but would love to) so that's out to. I travel some and I have CUTE LITTLES...but then every grandmother thinks theirs are. After my Mom died and left us her journals of 30 years, I knew I wanted to record our everyday lives. I would really love to be a great photographer and am planning to learn to make better pictures...but for right now you just get plain pictures...Guess that's why I am so amazed...There are so MANY great blogs out there, that you would spend time reading mine is very humbling.
Over the years, my handwriting has DECLINED...as in really BAD, so typing it seemed like the easiest way to do it. And why NOT BLOG? I could always stop and really the first post I wrote I thought would be the last! And now 264 POSTS later, I am still doing it. I will never be an EVERYDAY poster...a couple of times a week is about all I can manage..So from the bottom of my heart I say THANKS for stopping by, forgive me when I am not as good at returning comments (though I am committed to getting better), and know that you are ALWAYS A WELCOMED GUEST here.
One of my non blogging good friends said to me one time, PEOPLE MUST REALLY BE BORED to read your blog. It really hurt my feelings, but then I realized that people that don't blog, really don't understand it. I cannot tell you how many times I have been encouraged, how many times I have learned about something that I knew nothing about, and most of all learned that we all share the same hopes and dreams, fears and burdens. LIFE is just that LIFE! My friend that does my hair said to me yesterday, "Life is just a MESS, you just go from one mess to the next"! I got that...I understood it well. I can never remember a time in my life when I have had more friends in more battles, more hard places, more scary places, and more in NEED of that peace that passes all understanding. I have a couple of people on my heart tonight that are in dire need of a MIRACLE....
If you have never read Ashley's Blog, please visit and please PRAY. They are literally in a fight for her life tonight. I have read their story for years and things had been going so good and then in a day everything WENT WRONG. Ashley's Mom, Trish is a gifted writer, a wonderful Mom, but tonight she is a hurting and scared Mom. I also have a friend my age that was on vacation in Galveston for the Fourth of July and had a brain aneurysm. After a very long surgery, she was stable, but now has developed complications. So when you pray, please pray for Betsey!

I have read so many great posts this week. Melissa wrote a Beautiful BIRTHDAY Tribute to her dad Keith Moore (Beth's Man) on the LPM blog.
You know how I love DISNEY and Kristen did a post on her recent trip. Any Disney post is a great read to me. She also has a GREAT Etsy Shop!
AS ALWAYS, KELLE has never written a post that I have not read twice. She has a GIFT and that's all it can be called.
And everyone reads KELLYS KORNER....she is just so lovable and REAL....She mentioned that her Mom's birthday was this week and that she was in Glorietta, New Mexico on a mission trip. My husband happens to be there too. Turns out they had been together everyday going into Santa Fe. Late last night her Mom emailed me to see if by chance I might be related to a nice man named Jack from Shreveport. I had to email her back and let her know I had been married to him for 38 years. Talk about a SMALL WORLD. Sorry this has turned into a RANDOM post....but I am pretty RANDOM. I am having a hard time not talking about my thoughts on BP, Lebron, the Espy Awards and Leigh Ann and Sean Tuohy (I love them and cannot wait to read their book)! I will save those for another day. As you can see I have thoughts about everything...
Will leave you with a picture of Parker and his new BRACES.
A Little Man I Have a Date with TOMORROW NIGHT.AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, BRETT, PLEASE TELL US YOU WILL BE ON THE FIELD in NEW ORLEANS on SEPTEMBER 9! That would Make My DAY!

"One of my non blogging good friends said to me one time, PEOPLE MUST REALLY BE BORED to read your blog. It really hurt my feelings, but then I realized that people that don't blog, really don't understand it. " Oh, that is SO true! I have one of those friends, too. I wonder what possesses them to say such things?

You hit it right on the head when you say "people that don't blog just don't understand"...only we bloggers know what those people are missing:-) The reason you have so many followers is because you are so warm, loving, caring, funny, compassionate and keep it all real...all reasons we love you so much. Just keep going the way you are, don't ever change:-) I love blogging as well and love all the friends I've made through it. I don't get to visit daily because of being busy with other things but you're all never far away from my thoughts. Love ya! xoxo

Theresa, congratulations on all of your followers, and it looks as if you made it over 1000 with your latest followers. That's neat.

But what is neater is that you have such a kind heart.

All the best!

XO,

Sheila :-)
