I LOVE TYLER PERRY

A rare short post for me....but can I tell you I have NEVER seen a Tyler Perry movie that I did not love. He is just one of my favorites.

The Diary of a Mad Black Woman was one of my all time favorites...I am just a Madea fan...She always makes me laugh! Today was no exception...My husband and I slipped off to an after the ballgame movie. (Brett Farve is back and playing for the Minnesota Vikings and I could not be happier) That's just a side note for those of you that are football fans...If you are not, that statement will mean absolutely nothing and if you are and you are a Brett Farve hater, please don't leave me a comment. He is GOOD for the GAME!
Today we saw Tyler Perry's I Can Do Bad All By Myself ..
great movie and great message....I highly recommend it...

Then we spent the next 5 hours with Parker at the ER...Seems the stomach bug hit him while we were in the movie with a VENGEANCE. He has been getting IV's and is still throwing up. This is a kid that is rarely ever sick.
TO add to that we had a huge rain storm and lost power. Exciting day...now we have Jack rocked to sleep and snug in his bed and are praying we don't wake up with the BUG!

Oh my, I do hope Parker will be completely well soon. Do they know what kind of bug he has?
On an upbeat note, I, too, saw I Can Do Bad All By Myself yesterday, and I loved it! Predictable as all getout, but a fabulous movie overall. Medea is hilarious, but this movie is so much more than Medea. It is so REAL, and yes, I agree, it sends an important message. I wish all young women AND men could see this movie.
Keeping Parker in my prayers.

You made that movie sound interesting. I usually see them when they make it to T.V. I rarely go to the movies. Has to be something special.
Loved your Friend Making Monday and the pics on 911.
Hope you have a wonderful week.
Smiles,
Pat

Tyler Perry is so talented and blessed beyond belief. What i love just as much as the movies and plays (have you seen the plays? i have them all and enjoy them just as much as the movies.) is the praise he gives to God for his success and the fact that he gives so much back to help others. He is truly a gift from God to this world spreading a great message of hope and persaverence(sp).

As far as Brett Farve goes i use to be a Green Bay fan when i was a kid (had more to do with the colors than actual football lol). I think he is an amazing player althought i got a little confused by his tap dance at the beginning of the last 2 seasons. I am all about football though and i am so excited that the season is upon us.

How everybody dodges the tummy flu virus and that all will feel better soon!

My hubby & I really enjoy Tyler Perry's movies too. We have bought a few and I'm looking forward to the "Why Did I Get Married" sequel that Janet Jackson was filming when Michael died.

I'll have to check out this one you just saw. I like the actress in the poster. She was on a few episodes of Eli Stone before it was canceled.

Hope Parker is feeling better soon.

Prayed for healing tonight for Parker. And for the rest of you to stay healthy.
The Brett Favre thing has been the talk of the town here lately. We're very close to Minnesota, and we've got lots of Packers fans AND Vikings fans here. Very interesting!

Would you believe I've never seen a Tyler Perry movie?
I've seen him in interviews and think he's hilarious, but I've never seen one of his movies. Of course I haven't seen many movies that weren't made by Pixar in the last 9 years so that could explain it.

Oh, you WILL get "the bug" but only after everyone else is better. Women roll like that.
