CHECKING IN and A GIVEAWAY

I feel like the worst blogger.  Those of you that post everyday, have more time than me.
I am back from 5 days of hard work at market, working on helping Amanda get ready to move, helping her pick out furniture and paint, getting ready to start tree season.
I started to make a picture of my house (normally everything is in order)but  everything is OUT OF ORDER right now.  Too ugly to show.  You cannot see my dining room table.

I have also have had Jack for the three days I have been home so Amanda can pack…That would be tiny tornado times 10 and proud of it.

Just a few tree pictures I snapped at market!!!!!

Terri is going to be posting on the holiday blog in the next few days, so please stop by.  We are both pretty much on overload right now.

I wanted to give you an update on Brooklyn….she is at Baylor in Dallas and beginning to squeeze hands and do lots of therapy.  Please keep praying.
They are still believing for a miracle…

I feel the need to give something away…you deserve something for just stopping by, so I picked up some great Christmas magazines and a cute stocking.

This is not a very great picture…but it’s a good prize. I will draw (Parker will) next Tuesday.
All you have to do is leave a comment….and tell me your favorite Christmas tree theme.  It can be Old Fashioned, Snowman, Santa….whatever you love.  OR you can go to my PINTEREST BOARDS and tell me your favorite board. I will just admit....MAJOR ADDICTION...

Giveaway

And here is a GREAT THOUGHT for the week!!

Hi Teresa
So nice to see a post from you. I have been absent from blogging a bit too ~ just a lot of living going on here too.
I've got Christmas on my brain, as we will celebrate early this year which means stuff goes up early too. I put up 4 full size trees, none of them photo worthy, but all loved for different reasons.
I think my favorite might be my newest and simplest. I put it in my bedroom ~ just lots of family pictures in red frames, all Christmas pictures. I also have red initials of everyone, and my girls' baby shoes, my husband and my silver baby cup...it's a tree of LOVE.

I have all 4 of my grands sleeping over tonight, so I'd better get to bed. They will be up early!!!

My favorite Christmas tree theme would have to be old fashioned looking Santa Claus's. I just adore them
Thanks for the opportunity to win!!

God Bless~

I'm getting excited for you! I can't believe that Christmas is almost here again. My theme is snowmen but after I looked at the pinterest boards, I'd have to say that my favorites are Grayson and Austin! So adorable!

Glad you posted, though seems you have been way busy. I can't beleive it will soon be Christmas, time is flying. Those trees are beautiful. I am not able to decorate so much anymore but I do try to concentrate on the tree and let it be the show piece. I love an old fashioned tree with colored lights and a mixture of ornaments, though the other themed trees are beautiful.

I have only begun using themes in the last few years. My favorite is New York City though it needs lots of help to pull it together.
Love following your blogs and your family.

You shouldn't feel to bad about your blogging. It is a huge time commitment. I had to pretty much give up blogging because it was taking too much time away from my family and I miss it, but it was for the best.
Now, for my giveaway entry- my favorite tree theme is handmade. I love all handmade decorations (usually from my kids).
Thanks for the opportunity.

I will continue to pray for Brooklyn. Love the pictures. I love my traditional tree but when you show the trees from the show I think they are so pretty and creative. My favorite is my snowman trees. White lights and snowmen just go together!

What beautiful Christmas trees!!! It doesn't take much for me to get excited about Christmas and believe me when I tell ya, I've go the Christmas itch baaaaad!

I know it will surprise ya'll to know that my tree is a countrified tree all the way!!! I even have a charmin' country angel who perches atop my tree.

God bless ya sweetie, we all understand how very busy you are! :o)

I don't know what you would call my theme for my tree. It's just a collection of ornaments that I started collecting 38 years ago and I add new ones each year. One of these days I am going to have to buy a bigger tree because I have so many now. Whatever the theme is called, we love it and it feels like us.

Love that quote and photo.

Seriously, I have yet to see one of your trees that I don't like! I love them all!
Red/white and blue old fashioned trees are probably my favourite though.
